NOTICE TO PETERPAUL RECREATION PARK GUESTS AND EMPLOYEES
7/11/2020 – Having been open one week, we would like to take a moment to thank those guests that have visited us and graciously observed the social distancing procedures that are in place.
As a reminder, all guests are required to wear a mask inside our building and at anytime they are unable to maintain a safe distance of at least 6 feet from other guests with whom they did not arrive. In addition, we ask that riders leave their masks on while loading onto the Go Karts, until such time that the staff has ensured that they are properly secured in their restraints.
Masks are not required on the Bumper Boats but, may be worn if desired. If not being worn, we ask that they be secured someplace prior to boarding your boat. Loose masks have a tendency to be dropped and get caught up in the boats’ propellors.
Batting Cages are open and available during normal business hours. Most coin boxes are now operational. Cages may also be rented in 20-minute increments. While we encourage guests to bring their own equipment, our bats and helmets are available and cleaned in between uses.
Mask use is encouraged while playing Laser Tag, especially with larger groups of unrelated participants. Our games are tactical in nature and often require team work to hold a position.

5/20/2020 – As we begin our phased reopening of Peterpaul Recreation Park, we encourage all of our guests to become familiar with our updated policies and procedures that will significantly alter the manner in which you enjoy your time at Peterpaul Recreation Park. Socially distancing must still be followed while at the park, including the use of face coverings whenever you will be within 6 feet of anybody else with whom you do not live. Please do not arrive with or, plan on meeting groups at the park.
Batting Cages will be the first attraction to reopen, beginning Thursday, May 21. Please note that reservations must be made in advance, the coin mechanisms will not be functioning. You may book online, here. Time slots are available in 20 minute increments on the half-hour, allowing 10 minutes in between for any contact surfaces to be cleaned.
Other attractions will reopen in accordance with the Mohawk Valley Region’s phased reopening guidelines. Please be sure to follow our website at: www.peterpaulrecreation.com or, our facebook page: @PeterpaulRecreation.
5/10/2020 – As we near the end of “NY Pause” on 5/15, we are making preparations for the opening of our 2020 Season. As things stand currently, Peterpaul Recreation Park will be working tirelessly to get our Batting Cages opened as close to Friday May, 15 as possible.
When we open, we will continue to follow social distancing guidelines. We will require customers and employees to wear masks, while maintaining a safe distance of 6 feet from one another, whenever possible. In addition, attendance will be limited in order to avoid long queues at any one attraction.
Batting Cage reservations will be available in 30 minute blocks. Laser Tag sessions will also be able to be booked in advance. Reservations may be made on our website at: www.peterpaulrecreation.com/attractions or, by calling (315) 339-2666. We encourage customers book early to ensure availability for their desired dates/times.
Rides (Go Karts and Bumper Boats) will open once it is determined that we can do so in a manner that is safe for our customers and employees. Instead of tickets this season, all customers will need to purchase reservations in advance of their visit. Rides will be available in one or two hour time slots.
Finally, Laser Tag will open as soon as construction on the Arena is complete and we determine that it is safe to open.
